You can't change people. If someone shows you who they are, BELIEVE THEM!
Don't say, you didn't see IT coming because God always sends you a sign. All you have to do is pay attention.
If someone wants to walk out of your life,LET THEM GO! Especially if you know youve done everything you could do, be the best man or woman, and they still want to leave.LET THEM GO! Whatever they are running after, they will see what they had in a minute, but by then its going to be too late.
Some people come into your life for a Lifetime and some for a Season. Youve got to know which is which because you will always mess up when you mix up seasonal people with lifetime expectations.
All the people in your life can be categorized as parts of a tree. Some people are like:
-Leaves on a tree: they go wherever the wind blow, theyre unstable. Season change, they wither and die. Most people are like that, theyre just there to take from the tree and give shade every now and then, thats all they can do. But dont be mad at people like that because thats what they are. They arent going to be anything else but a leaf. Others are like
-Branches on that same tree: You got to be careful with people who are branches because they can fool you. Usually a good friend, strong and supportive, but the minute you step on them, theyll break and leave you high and dry. But if you find two or three people in your life that are
-Roots: at the bottom of that tree, you are blessed because they arent worried about being seen, nobody has to know what they are doing for you because they go un-noticed. But if those roots werent there, the tree cant live.
Remember, a tree can have a million branches but only three roots down at the bottom to ensure it gets everything it needs.
When you get roots in your life, hold on to them BUT the rest,LET THEM GO!
Nobody says its going to be easy, but it gets easier when you learn to love yourself. You need to reach that point in your life where you look at people and say,Wait ah minute, you or me and its only then you can make a decision.
When you tell someone dont do something because it hurts you and you see that person fixing or trying to fix it, that person cares. But if they continue doing it, they dont care,MOVE ON! LET THEM GO!
No matter how much it hurts, LET THEM GO! It will get easier as the days go by. Youve got to learn how to be alone. If you dont know how to be by yourself, what are you going to do with someone else.
Its surprising the things people put up with just to hear someone say, I Love You!
