Drama Lunatics : Jul 3, 2007

Drama-lunatics

Why do people in society have to create drama in lives other than their own?
Is it because they are addicted to the rush of adrenaline that they receive from drama?
Is it the only thing that makes their lives worth living? Does dealing out the drama make
us look better or more interesting to other people? I really wish I understood why people
have to create drama.

I know that sometimes it is easier for people to talk to a third party to work out their thoughts
or feelings. That third party should be trusted enough to know that you are bouncing ideas off
them and that this isnt info for you to dramatize or cause gossip about. Overall honesty from
one person to the other is the best policy. I have even taken the drama from the third party and
approached the first party in hopes of clearing up any misconceptions or personal views. Otherwise
its too much like the gossip game that people played in elementary school or high school. I would
rather the person hurt my feelings then allow everyone else to know so that they can be absolved
of the guilt of hurting me. Just be honest. I will more than likely get over it much faster if
it comes straight from the source then if I have to hear it from a dozen or more people.

I am so direct and honest with everyone else that, yes, it sometimes hurts them. Why more of
society can not do this escapes me. Yes, your feelings and thoughts may not be understood the
same way as you perceive them. No, you are not always right in your thoughts or feelings, but
others are wrong as well. People may get insulted and hurt by the truth, however, if they are
your friend they will understand that you did what was best, TOLD THEM THE TRUTH.

So saying that, I have decided that I am going to simply say: "Hmmm isn't that interesting",
and then whether you know it or not forget about it. It's not worth my health physically or
mentally.

This song says it best:

Lessons Learned
(Words & Music by Diane Warren)

There's some things that I regret
Some words I wish had gone unsaid
Some starts that had some better endings
Been some bad times I 've been through
Damage I could not undo
Some things I wish I could do all over again
But it don't really matter
When life gets that much harder
It makes you that much stronger, oh
Some pages turned, some bridges burned
But there were lessons learned

From every tear that had to fall from my eyes
From every day I wondered how I'd get through the night
From every change life has thrown me
I'm thankful for every break in my heart
I'm grateful for every scar
Some pages turned, some bridges burned
But there were lessons learned

There's mistakes that I have made
Some chances I just threw away
Some roads I never should've taken
Been some signs I didn't see
Hearts that I hurt needlessly
Some wounds that I wish I could have one more chance to mend
But it don't make no difference
The past can't be re-written
You get the life you're given, oh
Some pages turned, some bridges burned
But there were lessons learned

From every tear that had to fall from my eyes
From every day I wondered how I'd get through the night
From every change life has thrown me
I'm thankful for every breath in my heart
I'm grateful for every scar
Some pages turned, some bridges burned
But there were lessons learned

And all the things that break you
Are all the things that make you strong
You can't change the past coz it's gone
And you gotta just move on
It's all lessons learned

Bridge with new changes:
and all the things that break you
Are all the things that make you strong
You can't change the past cuz it's gone
You just gotta move on
Because it's all lessons learned

When all the drama that life deals is done. Everyone deserves this song:

Rascal Flatts
My Wish

I hope the days come easy and moments pass slow,
and each road leads you where you want to go,
and if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
if it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,

But more than anything, more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
your dreams stay big, your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
and while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

I hope you never look back, but you never forget,
all the ones who love you, and the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
and you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
and always give more than you take.

But More than anything, Yeah, more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
your dreams stay big, your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
and while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish. Yeah.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANNON!!! Image and video hosting by TinyPic BIRTHDAYS ARE A GIFT FROM GOD by HELEN STEINER RICE WHERE DOES TIME GO IN ITS ENDLESS FLIGHT- SPRING TURNS TO FALL AND DAY TO NIGHT, AND BIRTHDAYS COME AND BIRTHDAYS GO AND WHERE THEY GO WE DO NOT KNOW... BUT GOD WHO PLANNED OUR LIFE ON EARTH AND GAVE OUR MIND AND BODY BIRTH AND THEN ENCLOSED A LIVING SOUL WITH HEAVEN AS THE SPIRIT'S GOAL HAS GIVEN MAN THE GIFT OF CHOICE TO FOLLOW THAT SMALL INNER VOICE THAT SPEAKS TO US FROM YEAR TO YEAR REMINDING US WE'VE NAUGHT TO FEAR... FOR BIRTHDAYS ARE A STEPPING-STONE TO ENDLESS JOYS AS YET UNKNOWN, SO FILL EACH DAY WITH HAPPY THINGS AND MAY YOUR BURDENS ALL TAKE WINGS AND FLY AWAY AND LEAVE BEHIND GREAT JOY OF HEART AND PEACE OF MIND... FOR BIRTHDAYS ARE THE GATEWAY TO AN ENDLESS LIFE OF JOY FOR YOU IF YOU BUT PRAY FROM DAY TO DAY THAT HE WILL SHOW YOU THE TRUTH AND THE WAY. Image and video hosting by TinyPic May all your wishes and dreams come true! May the love of Christ be with us today and always! David:)
